I'm just saying, that if Moftiss thinks we've missed it, we haven't.

Hmm... I think I've missed it.  What is it that you think Mofftiss is referring to when he says there's a clue that the fans haven't found...?

I know I've missed it!! Or I'd have an inkling what's going to happen next. And I don't. Seriously, there's not a single thing that I can say for sure will happen next, except that the baby will be born. And even that's a sure thing only because we've seen the baby being filmed!

But I think we may get to S4E1 and do a few face plants - of "oh, of course!"

Well, that'll be FUN!  Ha ha ha

I read the Hound commentary transcript again yesterday and am once again gobsmacked at how much fun Mofftiss has w/ it all:  the plots, the characters, the filming, the sets, the costumes, and etc etc etc.  They really are making one VERY good show, eh?

hee hee... as Mofftiss says in the video commentary of TAB, they can say for sure that Sherlock will be in it.  John Watson will be in it.  221b will be in it, and etc.  The devils!

Yes, but what will they do?

"murder, mystery, and mayhem"

"clueing for looks"

"adventure, terror, and romance"

take your pick.  Mofftiss really are devils, aren't they?  My brain is coming up empty for the "exactly" and the "now" ....

I hope nobody cares, but for my own reference I wanted to compile what we have so far:

  • What was CAM's relationship with Mary?
  • Why doesn't Sherlock have his own gun?
  • What did Mycroft upset Mummy over that caused a rift between the Holmes boys?
  • Sherlock is MI6.  Want to know more.
  • Mary's nursing credentials:  Are they real?
  • CAM's reference (in his telegram) to Mary's family, whoever or whatever they may be.
  • Mrs. Hudson's past.
  • What was Sherlock doing those 2 years he was "dead"?
  • Mycroft's ring and Sherlock being surprised Mycroft hadn't found a "goldfish" while he, Sherlock, was gone.
  • In ASiB, where were the boys when Mrs. Hudson was in the kitchen and greeted the driver of the car ( who saw the man get killed by an unknown means)? She shouts up the stairs-??
  • How Sherlock responds to the possibility that Moriarty is alive!
  • Reflections from (or lack thereof) or positions of TVs when Moriarty's GIF came on the screens in 221B & Bart's.
  • Magnussen and Moriarty are somehow related.
  • Lord Moran had ties to Magnussen.
  • What did Mary really mean when she said she was late for "Cath?"
  • Can Bill Wiggins be trusted?
  • All those death threats Sherlock gets ... who's sending them, why, and are they planning to act on them?

who or what is "the Other One"

Why was Janine working such late, long hours?  Surely CAM had business dinners all the time that didn't require his personal assistant to be on duty in his private residence 24/7.   When she left Sherlock's flat earlier in the day, I'm assuming she worked a 9-6 shift for CAM, but there she was, still at work at around 1900 hrs when Sherlock and John were let into his flat.  She was a personal assistant with a lot of perks, likely, including excellent salary for long hours and travel.  She knew CAM's inside world.

CAM had the goods on Janine.  He could "leverage" her to work whatever hours he dictated. He said that "janine kept her eyes open once" while he was flicking John - thus meaning he'd flicked Janine.  Ew - what an evil guy.  As Moffat said on the commentary, Magnussen deserved to get shot in the face right then and there just for the flicking!

I just imagine CAM was a 'Devil Wears Prada' kind of boss (am now sniggering at the image of him in some of those outfits). I think he would have just assumed he was literally the boss of Janine and she should be at his beck and call whenever he felt like.

I defintely can see CAM in Loubouton shoes!  ; )

Regarding "I'm late for Cath; I'll see you later" -- it still sounds to me like she's responding to John's decision to visit Sherlock by saying "All right, be careful. See you later."

What we have definitely not missed is the sequence of the visitors to the hospital in HLV, the absence of any flower tribute from. Lady Smallwood (funny, that, giving the name of the villain in The Sign of the Four, to Mycroft's apparent boss!) and who got his/her hands on the bullet still in Sherlock: Molly, Mycroft, a third party?

Also we haven't missed that having entered Magnussen's penthouse-style office in a Bond-style way, Mary shoots Sherlock but spares Magnussen, when she doesn't harbour any particular feelings towards the detective and definitely wants to eliminate Magnussen, knowing that her husband is in the building but NOT with Sherlock, as he is left behind to minister to Janine, one floor down. Plotholes, or deliberate misdirection?

Yeah, you showed us something (I forget what) that sort of confirms that's the dialog. Which brings up the question: be careful of what or whom? Sherlock? Surely not. (And stop calling him Sherly! :d )

Maybe she meant "be careful you don't punch him again."

I take it as a throw away comment; you go and see your friend, I'm going to see mine. I don't think it has any deep meaning behind it. :)

This is my take on it also -- just a way couples have of checking in w each other and saying "bye" etc.  Typical couple interaction w/out a deeper meaning.

Agree.

Hey anyway, I don't think Moffat read every fan's theories, how does he know we missed it, he probably just haven't read about it by the time he makes that statement.

Heck, most of us, and me, don't even know a quarter of this forum and what had been discussed in pages and pages of threads, let alone other Sherlock forums out there.
