Yea, I remember reading that article when it came out, makes sense.

I do also, lol.  I'm not sure why they added that part; I wonder how many night people would say they like mornings.

Someone on my WhatsApp group lives on the the most northernly point of the UK, and she's making me so jealous with photos of where she lives and tales of the wildlife she sees. Her farm overlooks the sea and she gets to see whales. And they regularly have the northern lights. I want to live there!

You do realize, in the winter it gets dark there at, like, 2 pm?

I'm not sure what kind of person I am.  I like being up in the morning, but I don't like getting up until I'm damn good and ready.  I don't necessarily like going to bed, either.  I will put off taking a bath, but once I'm in the tub I'm in no hurry whatsoever to get out.

Maybe I just don't like transitions?

3 actually, and it's 4 here so not a huge difference. Plus I like the dark. :)

That's like me with cooking, I hate the thought of cooking but once I'm doing it I'm usually happy enough.

I’m a night owl who has to get up early for work as in 3:30am when I open. I would prefer a midnight bedtime with an alarm no earlier than 8am. But, alas, I need the money.

I wish Victorian swimsuits were still in vogue, I'm not comfortable in modern ones.

Same here.  I usually wear shorts and a t-shirt over mine, I’m just not comfortable being more exposed than that.  I get weird looks and comments for that sometimes, but I’d be less comfortable with the looks I’d get walking around in what basically amounts to underwear, so...

You weren't intending to let Sherlock know that he had a new text message?

Good god, NO! What would John and Mycroft say if they heard it during breakfast?

I am night owl who like mornings. In places that I'm able to, I would purposely wake up to see the sunrise, eventhough I stay up late. And morning walk is nice, especially at the beach or open meadow or in the mountain. But I love night trekking as well, the dark sky, stars and the moon, the quietness. In overall, I think sleep is wasting time, too bad we need it though and it feels good. Damn.

In average, I get 5-6 hours sleep, I thought I should get more, but geez, that is already a quarter of my life!

Or maybe you like to dilly-dally :P

I always say my dog likes to dilly dally by talking a long detour to get to me when I call him for bath time. He comes to me, yes, but you should see the route he takes, just like what Sherlock did to Mycroft in TLD.

@ swimsuit. Oh, would you prefer the ones made from wood?

I'm not comfortable either, although once in a while  I could wear bikini top and beach short for water activity in the sea. But then I found  out that I'm allergic to something in the sea so now I always wear those thin body vest for the top. In swimming pool though, I'd go with tank top if it's allowed, but I hardly swim in the swimming pool anymore, and yes, some guys are impolite even only with their staring.

Anyway, somehow it's tremendously difficult to find good fitting bikini, they are either barely enough to cover anything or using too thick padding material.

I wish I could cancel today.  It's been one thing after another since I stepped out of bed.  I'm exhausted and I'm tempted to go back to bed ASAP.

Another day like this.  *Sigh*.

Yes, frankly, I would prefer a wooden one! I want to do a taster scuba lesson, and I was excited until I saw 'just bring your bathers and a towel!'

So I wanted to have peaceful lunch at the quiet restaurant near my work, alone, after two weeks of measly lunches.

Was feeling relaxed and in the mood, imagining the quiet time by myself. When I walked into the restaurant, that is normally a safe place where no one I know would be there, but... there was this group of foreign team that is working with me in my current project. They have been here for a year, and after long time of just brief work related conversations, lately more of them have become more chatty to me, because they have picked up a thing or two in English and our language as well, and maybe because they have become more familiar. Previously only their spokesperson talks to me in English, and with other we just exchanged gestures since we don't understand each other language.

Walking in, I had seen them from my peripheral vision even before I walked in, and they had seen me, so it was too late to turn around. So I just did what sensible person do, waved at them and :P  straightaway changed my strategy to order takeaway instead, and waited for it at the lounge area instead of risking them taking 'pity' on me eating alone and asked me to join them or vice versa.

My lunch plan :bemused:.. why are we the way we are?

What is taster scuba lesson? If you mean discovery scuba, insist on them loaning you wetsuit, or at least shorties, it should be included in the things the provide you. Then, like what I always do, you can hide in the bush or in the car somewhere to don it. Much more comfortable and stable in the water.

Yes, a sample scuba diving lesson, and it's in a pool so no wetsuit.

This is the attire I normally use for that purpose, it is allowed in swimming pool as far as I know. Top is called rash guard, and I wear bicycle pants for the bottom. Even more conservative than the Victorian one, and good for movement too.

Taking it off however, there is a risk of entrapment. Especially if you wear big sport watch and forget to take it off before taking off the rash guard.

It happens.  Ghastly. I don't want to talk about it.

I have to wear bathers for this. I do have a wet suit for when I go in the sea though. But my god, trying to get that thing on and off is a nightmare.

I don't know if they still make them (haven't bought a swimsuit in years) but I have the ones that have a little skirt around the bottom, and the top is basically a tank top. Only swimsuits I've owned that I actually don't mind wearing.

Someone on my group said about swim dresses but I don’t want to risk anything getting tangled in my breathing gear! I’m just looking for ones that aren’t too high cut on the leg or low cut at the boobage. The boobage bothers me less since there’s nowt to pop out.

Lands' End (mailorder) offers quite a selection of mix-and-match two-piece swimsuits.  I have one of theirs, basically shorts and a tank top.  The shorts are shorter than I'd like, but at least the two-piece construction means that I don't have to continually tug them down in order to keep my butt covered.

They don't seem to ship to anywhere except the US and its possessions, though -- Marshall Islands, fine -- Toronto, forget it!

Oops, wait -- they have separate websites for a few international locations, where they offer "a limited selection" of their "most popular items."

Why are Mycroft and John having a breakfast together? Are you trying to imply something?

Or I could get a burkini. :D

Relax, everybody!  They've simply met at Speedy's again to discuss The Sherlock Problem.

^ Now I want a montage of all the times Mycroft and John have met at Speedy’s to discuss Sherlock.

“*Sigh*, again?”

“Again.”

“The usual place?”

”The usual place.”

The Sherlock Problem? Sherlock IS a problem! At least to Mycroft.
