Are you saying your cats don't chase joggers? Weird.

Posted

No, they just hide under a bush and trip them when they go by.

Just adding my vote NOT to trim the tag thingie. just leave it wedged.  And please let us know how it goes at the vet's office.

A bit of cross posting last night, but I did manage to get the thread free luckily. I got her cornered on the stairs and after a fair bit of squirming and screeching it came out so no need for the vet :D

And I'll bet she never showed you a bit of gratitude, either. Is she even talking to you again, yet? :d

Not a word of thanks. She is talking to me, but if anything I wish she would talk less, Siamese cats are so loud, sometimes I'm tempted to cellotape her snout shut for a bit of peace!

My friends,

I'm coming but I don't talk because I'm moving.

I must make an arrangement my son's school etc...

I'm reading and kiss all of you.

Maybe that's what she was trying to do when she got the tag stuck in her mouth. Awww, such a good kitty... :d

Not so fast.. actually the kitty was attempting to put a price for her silence.

And now you ruined her plan! No more negotiations, continuously meowing will ensue.

Can I trade the kiss with cookies?

Ah, maybe that was her cunning plan, in which case I outwitted her.

Mmm, cookies. Friday cookies, yes please. Can I put in a vote for double choc chip?

Has anyone else noticed their own posts disappearing lately? Just this week, I would swear I've made at least three posts that simply aren't there now.

There were at least two on my cellphone via Mom's wi-fi, plus at least one at home over our hard-wired DSL connection -- so I can't believe it's equipment failure.

Could be operator error, of course -- perhaps I simply neglected to click Post. I've been using Preview more lately, so yeah, I wouldn't rule that out.

But just wondering if this is happening to anyone else -- in which case it could be some problem with the forum software.

Here's an obscure getting to know you all question... how many tabs do you have open on your browser right now? I have 30 in this window and 4 in another window. I'm wondering if it's a generational thing, my mother can barely cope with two.

:-D I usually have like 3 tabs open. I just don't use that many websites...

Three for me too. I usually only have one or two.

Ten in average but the most is forty (I am mostly on phone).

By the way, this article showed up in my newsfeed today: http://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/meet-historically-accurate-mr-darcy-180962136/

I found two houses but my brain is confused.

First house is country style that old and cheap.

Second house is new style that new and expensive. It has a pool.

Both of them are far my husband's job, my job and my son's school.

There aren't houses close to three of us.

I'm tired. :/
