Forget about the moustache! I would quite like to have his Cartier watch! Couldn't he have gone for a nice old Santos model? They come in ladies' makes too! :evilinside:

Bill Wiggins: Why it can't be squashy? Is it not supposed to be squashy?

With the playfullness of BC, I am wondering if he never ask Mark:

1. Does it rub off too?

2. Do you seriously want to keep that?

3. I prefer my writer clean-shaven.

XD

I should have asked having the chance. But the idea came yesterday. Probably I've heard Van Buran's thoughts.

On the other hand, knowing the obsessed fans, he has heard that question 1000 times during that weekend.

That emotie reminds me of the bunny suicides calendar ... (warning, some people don't find this nearly as funny as I do and in fact may be quite disturbed by it and look at you funny if you give them one for Christmas ....)

Presumably the same people who didn't think Fargo was hilarious?

Probably! Yeah, I can't imagine this one particular friend watching Fargo ... heck, I haven't even convinced her to try Sherlock yet. (If I like it, there must be something wrong with it ... :D )

Talking about BC, what's that thing with his irises again? He doesn't have a different eye colour in each eye, like Count Ignatieff, they just show different shades. I must look it up sometime, because mine start with gold flecks near the pupil, then have green flecked with a tawny shade of brown near the white of the eye. Comes from my mother's side of the family, and it's rather interesting that when I'm in sunlight or have had a drink or I'm angry, the green predominates. But why is it so? Are the majority of people's irises unicoloured, then?

Some people....probably most....they just don't notice it.....eye color changes with mood, what they are wearing, light changes. It's called glazie or heterochromia

I think you're right, Fox.  Most people's eyes are basically "hazel" -- a mix of colors.  But we were told as kids that our eyes were some specific single color and we've never questioned it.  So we go through life thinking of our eyes as "blue" or "brown," even though when we see someone (like Paul Newman) whose eyes really are a pure clear color, we consider them unusual.  I guess you could call it a case of mass cognitive dissonance.

It's scary, all the stuff that kids are told to be true, only to find out how much stuff you have to unlearn when you get older. Bombarded with lies and misinformation 24/7 it seems now-a-days.

Oh no, not you too......

One sincerely hopes not! Without dear Arcadia and J.P., without forgetting Carol and Caya and Boton and TOBY and SherlockedCamper, this place would get "boring" rather quickly, and since I only possess hunting rifles and go out shooting when permitted, I wouldn't even be able to release tension, ^_^ and it might impact on family life! Not an option! Today at 14:15 GMT is the last of Rumpole returns episode on BBC radio 4, Rumpole and the Tap End.

A while back I posted Benedict's photo shoot for Vanity Fair as it appeared on the magazine pages, but on YouTube there's the whole shoot at PhaseOne and how it all came together, and it's very funny! Check it out, in your spare time.

And, once more, he blew me into the fourth dimension: as a boy he quite liked Princess Leia and wished he could be Harrison Ford! Is that why Molly is sporting a Leia hairdo in SoT? Oh, my ears and whiskers, we certainly do live and learn!

Meaning exactly what? What kind of reputation would a moderator have, then?
