Cactus collection? :lol5:

And when he's tired of thinking, he refines his motor skills by practicing Operation.

I don't do that to my friends and family, so I shouldn't know (strangers on the other hand...), but that shouldn't take too much time..

...or eliminate Britain's enemies. Or starting a war.

In the meantime he's tendering his cactus collection.

Yep, mentioned all of that except cactus. :p

Taking care of cactus is a couple spray of water every week. That shouldn't take too much time...

He can't handle broken heart. How many patients he needs to kill? That, also shouldn't take too much time... :) :p

Nah, he spend time to devise more ways to further spread his web of influence. That's why he forbid Sherlock going after Magnussen, because they were in cahoots to keep certain people in line. "Dang it Sherlock, you broke one of my toys!" *cheeky grin*

It is a very big collection.

He could also have a huge room in the cellar filled with model railway system.

Or spend the time inventing sophisticated cake recipes. All in theory, of course, for obvious reasons.

Or maybe he's indeed cooking. (remember Mark and his blood bowl?)

Planting more surveillance device in people of interest's homes and known boltholes. Playing people against each other for fun and profit. It is of course all for Queen and Country. ;)

Forgive me for doubting,...how to put it nicely,.. that apparently you are indeed as bat-shit crazy as me in regards to Sherlock, or in this case, Mycroft. See, i know manner.

Awwwww... those men look familiar.. :p

Anyway my ideal slogan for Superman is not Man of Steel but more to Man in Sheet. :)

Have you ever seen "Stanlio and Ollio"? They are two comic actors of some years ago. Sherlock, in the picture above, has the same face of Stanlio, doesn't he? :lol4:

Here in the States we call them Laurel and Hardy. Loved them when I was a kid!

Does anyone else find Mycroft genuinely threatening? He never seems very scary in fics, and quite often he's portrayed as being a bit pathetic, even when he's the bad guy, but I think I'd be quite scared of him in person. I think it's the cold eyes, Gatiss manages to keep his eyes cold and flat no matter what the rest of him is doing.

Me, me, I do! :wave2: Not just the cold eyes, but the way he behaves ... kidnapping people, threatening them with incarceration ... yah, definitely threatening.

I adore him too much to find him threatening.

I think he's initially intimidating and off-putting, but I think you could warm up to him after a fashion, as long as you weren't trying to push him for more than he could give emotionally.
