Everybody, time for Hiddleston watch!

Well, they snuck Andrew Scott in for TAB, so you might watch all you want and see nothing!  LOL

If we don't see him on set, this is gonna be my delusional theory until the episodes prove me wrong.  lol

Arwel Jones has been using Twitter in the last couple of days. Since I don't have a Twitter account, could someone else on the forum re-post his interesting snippets?

Unless they've changed how Twitter works, anyone can read the tweets -- but you need an account in order to post anything of your own.

A bunch of S4 related tweets from the start of this year... some I had seen, some not.  Good timeline, tho.

Thanks!  I hadn't seen quite a few of those, though I have a sneaking suspicion that many of them will look quite familiar a year from now.

Bathtub?  (See 23 March.)  Do we finally get to see inside the bathroom?!

I'm probably going to be really disappointed when it doesn't match my headcanon of what the bathroom looks like.  Same would apply if we ever saw John's old room.

ETA:  OK, in my head the tub was a clawfoot.  Can't tell you why, it just was.

They still can put that green monster on some clawfeet. According to CAM's bodyguard the bath looks like the rest of the flat, which mean eclectic. Which means everything is possible. :)

John's bedroom? Probably as homely as his hotel room and the apartment he took after leaving Baker Street. Minimalistic. To relax after all the visual offensiveness of the living room.

Same reason as in my headcanon, I suppose (where the floor is hexagonal white tile).  I think I'm channeling the bathroom from a c. 1912 apartment I once lived in.

I took "like the rest of the flat" to mean "a real mess" (CAM was looking for an acceptable place to pee, so he presumably didn't care too much about the decor).  I was going to say, the bathroom would presumably be from the same era as the building -- but as we've noted before, the bedroom suite appears to have been added later, so yes, anything is possible.

Was it green?  I didn't notice, just thought good heavens, that looks like a Jacuzzi without the jets (!) -- what's it doing in (presumably) Sherlock's bathroom?

Now I'm wondering if I at one time read a fanfic that described the tub as a clawfoot... lol

I thought we finally had some actual filming news:

An episode of popular BBC show ‘Sherlock’ will be filmed partly in Thornbury, it has been announced today.  The show, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman in the modern-day retelling of Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle’s famous detective, will have scenes filmed in Thornbury Castle and on the High Street, as well as some of the more rural areas around the town.

... but then the article concludes:

In case you haven't already guessed, this is the Gazette's April Fools story. But we would very much like Sherlock to come to Thornbury in the future!

*sigh*  I never have appreciated April Fool jokes.  That one was so straight-faced that it caught me totally unaware -- even though I had been thinking we might get a joke from Arwel Jones today.

This reminds me a bit on a german show master from the seventies (? I don't know I used to watch it with my grandma when I was little...which was late seventies/early 80s...), haha...always when something went good in the game he said "Das war spitze!" ("That was top!") and jumped like this in the air.

sorry, double-posted the quote... :/

Yeah, I wasn't sure whether you meant (e.g.) Baby Girl Watson -- or babies born to all the Sherlock fans who've had nothing else to do!
