I think it's amazing he's doing this. I thought there was some big announcement that he wouldn't be. Bless, hoping  the poor baby's not wearing himself out too much. He has to last until I see him in October!

There was an announement. He wasn't supposed to do this. Maybe the idea is that if people can have pictures from the stage door,

they won't try to make them during the play. I wish though, other cast members would come out too.

Apparently the next problem might be the neighbors rising against the noise.

Dear J.P., what's that funny little thing in his ear in the second tweet? It doesn't look like a normal inter-radio transmission link, with whatever security is available. Any ideas, anyone?

Posted

Ideas? Nope. It could be just a weird shadow of that one lock over his ear though. The other shadows look strange too.

There seems to be nothing IN his ear.

On the other hand maybe there is some security ward who has a look at the crowd and signals: When I say run - run.

Doesn't look to me like anything in his ear canal, but there is something pale and shiny between the two ridges just above that.  Could be a scar?  Or some of that fake-skin bandaging material?  Or maybe just sweat!

Oh, man, now we're really getting desperate. Where is that next episode...... :p

Approximately a 100 days away, just like Napoleon's return from Elba! I sincerely hope it doesn't end the same way (Waterloo). But there is something plastic-looking there. If it was a clearer close-up it could be made out. It's like those odd-ball quizzes we did, I cannot deduce, but I observe.

I'm not saying there are curls, but there are curls.

So I've been a bit MIA, but I thought he wasn't doing stage doors?   And yet, these pictures...   I guess he had a change of heart?

Posted

Apparently. It started when he made that announcement about not taking pix inside the theater. I've only seen mentions of two stage doors, but they also said the signs saying he wouldn't be doing them were taken down. Whether he's done more since, I dunno.

Ohhh, I know that feeling she's talking about! When you've experienced something so close to perfect that you don't want to let go of it, and it makes you kind of sad because it's so rare. And if the ending is sad or bittersweet, the feeling of loss is just amplified. I remember feeling that way the first few times I finished reading Lord of the Rings. Actually, I felt something very close to that when HLV ended. Never felt that way about Hamlet, though!

Dear Arcadia, right with you there, I do so wish he had done Coriolanus, the Oresteia transferred to Elsingborg not one of my favourites, but I have already booked seats for the family for the 15th of October when the filmed performance is going to be shown, an absolutely red-letter day, if I'm still alive and kicking

There's always Coriolanus with Hiddles and Gatiss.
