I find it surprising Germany doesn't have BBC although maybe it's because dubbed content is such a standard? Come visit your friendly Dutch neighbours, we have BBC as well as imports of your excellent beers! ;)

Actually, I have seen pictures of the interior.  It is very narrow and small.  But I like small homes.  And yes, I  know the interiors are filmed on a sound stage.

Any guesses as to when we'll know the air date for the special?

My guess: If not during, shortly after BBC announces it's fall line up unless they do a separate announcement for all the holiday stuff, then it'll be at that time.

When do they normally announce their fall lineup?  I would think it would have to be soon.

OK, so a little google action leads me to believe that fall schedules are usually announced by the BBC in July.

 

ETA:  Sadly, I also discovered that Christmas schedules seem to be announced in late November/early December, so we may be waiting well past July to find out.

The exact UK air date for "Empty Hearse" (January 1st) wasn't announced until November 29th.  So it will likely be months yet before we know exactly when The Special will air.
