... Don't talk about those scenes. The way TAB's Mycroft reaching for food... Gross! Sherlock really have a sick and twisted mind. :|

They're quoting Abington, Gatiss, et al -- I thought the Sherlock panel wasn't till Sunday. (This IS still Saturday, isn't it? )

As Sir Humphrey Appleby would say, I am appalled! Ya'all call yourselves Sherlock fans and have yet to watch the DVd with the extras from the Abominable Bride, where the whole Mycroft makeup and food styling around him is presented by the female chef? She even used real Victorian moulds to make those towering jellies more authentic!

'twas a veritable cornucopia of Victorian breakfast foods, as she called it.  Her interpretation of what she found in researching Victorian breakfast foods amongst that class at least.   Amazing variety and richness!  (and none of it was actually eaten ie. foods spoil in room temperature at the 2 hour mark)

this tweeter has promised to post the videos but for now, live-tweeted Moffat today, stating that no Johnlock, he was misunderstood yesterday.  This was a moffat only Q and A.

(have tried twice but this forum will not accept the cut and paste from that twitter account)

"He was talking about the importance of representation in general, not hinting at anything to come on the show."

Well, as long as he made it clear, and not intentionally double-entendre, then it will remain a nice pastime for teen-and-tweenagers.

Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god.

I think I am in shock. Somebody give me a blanket. Please?

I can't wait to see this. Is that John in that hospital?

At around :15? Kinda looks like John to me, standing in what looks like an intensive-care facility (obscuring our view of whoever's in the bed). I get the feeling that a couple of the scenes (swimming pool and dining room) are in Toby Jones's character's house; pretty fancy digs! (As for the character himself, I already feel like slapping his face a few times.) Don't blink or you'll miss Lestrade. Wasn't sure that was Mary with the dark hair and the scarf till I rewatched while doing click-click, click-click on the Play/Halt button. Love Mrs. Hudson! Looks like a second or so of the back of Moriarty's head.

Three key words:  Thatcher, Smith, Sherinford

Is Mary going to kill someone? It looks like me. I don't like Lady Smallwood there. Is Mary or the baby dying? Why on earth Sherlock is crying in the morgue?

BTW- It looks like we are going to have a lot of action scenes. A bit kind of Hollywood movie. And it looks like it is going to be the final season.

ok, got the Smith reference- Culvertion Smith. Is Thatcher based on the John's blog entry three Thatchers AKA three nepoleons? Sherinford? Are they really considering bringing a third Holmes brother?

AND is Mycroft going to be evil?

Sherrinford?!?!

Noooo... please no... Not that third brother cr... I hate that. Sorry for being so violent, but really? It's not even in the stories. Sherrinford Holmes was just the name Doyle originally chose for Sherlock Holmes.

If there's a third brother, I hope he's at least dead.

You've lost me there.  Does something in the trailer imply that?

Yeah, those clue words are considerably better than last time. But Thatcher -- hmmm. She was mentioned in "Hounds."  As you say, there's John's blog entry.  'Course they may not mean Margaret -- maybe Janine is having her cottage roof redone, and has therefore hired ... a thatcher!  Mycroft is always evil.  :naughty:

Sherrinford?!?!

Hey, give the poor kid a chance, huh?  True, Sherrinford isn't in the Conan Doyle stories (neither is Molly!), but he's a long-standing fan tradition -- and "everything is canon," remember?

It is NOT the final series.  Moffat just said so at SDCC...not that he officially announced S5 but that recent articles misquoted him and took him entirely out of context.

Mrs Hudson kicks the Queen out of her house! Wow. Reptile? Did Mycroft got some crocks clogs?

Who is in the hospital? Who lies in the morgue?  :o

Toby's laughter is soooo creepy.

Moriarty's back and a glimpse of Wiggy.
