And we'll all be thrilled and sit there rocking in them happily.

Where's mine, I need it NOW!

We can mock you up a special one now if you like? You'll have to share a cell with a Mr Moriarty though, we don't have any others cleared yet.

New pictures! Yay! :applause:

I wonder whether the series (especially The Reichenbach Fall) will make more sense after the last episode or less.

Hey! I would voluntarily share a padded cell (no straitjacket, thanks) with Jim/James/Professor Moriarty because I would like to see how his mind works as an entity in Sherlock's mind palace: he kept him alive, after Mary Dear shot him in alleged 'surgery'. And I find James Porter definitely scarier than this Moriarty. The only really likeable Moriarty exists on the holodeck of NCC-1701 D , after all.

Yup, I absolutely love Daniel Davis's Moriarty!

At this point that actually sounds appealing.

My money's on less. Any takers? :D

I agree with the less so no bet there.

Heck! They admitted it themselves in the Chronicles: they spent the entire third season trying to overwrite/explain away TRF.

I still haven't read that entire book. Could you post the page number you're talking about and/or a quote?

I haven't watched/read any of the tie ins, does it say anywhere how they decided on Sherlock's look, the hair is a definite departure from the typical image of Sherlock, and why they decided to age him up from the pilot? I'm always interested in concept design and costume choices, I'd love to know more about the creative side of things.

The only thing I remember about the age thing ... and I think it's in one of the commentaries .. is they just kind of went oh heck, let's just make the character the same age as the actor. I've always assumed the hair was in response to the "make him look sexy" instructions from the BBC  but I don't remember any specific remarks in that vein.

I don't remember anything like what Inge mentions either, so I guess that means I have to read the book again....

Basically, it's pp. 210-216, where Mr Gatiss tries to explain it all away without censuring it.

I know there was speculation on Tumblr that the D notice was on Sherlock shooting Magnussen because if it was classified exactly what happened it's easier to keep him out of jail.

EDIT:

There's this pic too which I didn't notice on the last link, though I might have just missed it. The way Sherlock is looking at the baby is pretty funny :D

He may be thinking that the Watson baby sure looks like a doll! :lol4:

Oh... my... God... my eyes. There are some things you can never unsee! :D The unimpressed look is perfect, and going by that baby I think John should insist on a paternity test, it doesn't take a man of Sherlock's deduction abilities to see something might be amiss.

Maybe the baby is a doll, and John and Mary have gone nuts treating it like it's a real baby :P I actually came across that plot on a detective show recently, I'm sure the reveal it was a doll was not meant to be as amusing (or predictable) as it was.

Okay, this emerged on Twitter's official Sherlock account:

If this is part of the actual footage, then I predict Sherlock is still on drugs. (Also: WTF?!?)

Might be symbolic for what happens in S4.  Also, we have had the reference to water and sharks, and a ship and an island.

BTW, people start realizing that there is Mycrtoft's umbrella leaned at the fireplace…

gulp
