Absolutely Drama Queen! And it is Belstaff, not the other way around, by the way.

Belstaff... Belfast <---- neuronal slippage !  (having never heard of Belstaff until I started watching this show 6 mos ago)

about BC flaring the coat though, I would REALLY like to know if that was directed by Moftiss or by the director or a product of BC.  I'm betting on the latter.  What do you all think?

Oh, almost a certainty: a flair for the dramatic has got him where he is, after all, but it could have been the director's interpretation mimicking the exact posture in TRF for reasons to be revealed when it airs.

I'm still betting on Sherlock!  ;)

He's trimmed up lately, for sure.  I'd say since WTF???

Oh, he was looking pretty fine during S3 too...

And here we are with a little bonus of Titanic music...

Funny.

I'm starting to think Moftiss really does think Sherlock is Batman.....

I honestly think that's the coat being the drama queen, not Sherlock or BC!

No, no, let's not be putting words into Moffat's mouth.  The reality is that BC and MF are likely booked for the next 18-24 months, so that means even scheduling them for S5 would likely not happen until late 2018 or possibly early 2019, and maybe you would get S5 in 2020.  BC has said he wants to do it for the long haul, and I think Moffat is just saying they will do them now an again as treats.  But S5, although I know that Moffat and Gatiss have it planned out already, has not been officially green-lit by the BBC, and that likely won't happen until well after S4 airs, unless S4 happens to be an enormous success (I'm sure it will be).  Even so, they tend to wait on their announcements that another series has been ordered.

Also remember that BC is now part of the Marvel juggernaut, and he'll likely be in several projects there.

If there is doubt as to when another series will be filmed and whether there will be one at all, I do hope they won't end this series with another cliff hanger. Ending, guys. Please give me a good ending. Or I will stop after The Sign of Three and just forget the rest, but... I don't really want to...

I kind of imagine that when and if the Moftisses find that there will be no more series, they will, regardless, manage to put together one more special in order to wrap things up. That seems to be a British tradition. But, like Mr. Moffat, I'd be surprised if there aren't several more series -- albeit perhaps continuing the trend of being less and less frequent.

I don't think that's much different from what Moffat has been saying practically from the beginning. I'll be fairly surprised if there isn't an S5. After that, though, all bets are off.

It's interesting ... in that picture, Sherlock looks more like I would "expect" Sherlock Holmes to look. Because he's older now? Maybe. (That makes me a little sad, I want him to be young forever! I'm so shallow.... :( )

So it seems like my Hiddleston fantasies did not come true.

So it seems, but we've hardly seen everything..... in fact, I've seen nothing that gives me any expectations about S4 at all, except that the evil cruel Moftiss is going to run our Sherly through the wringer in some way. And even that might turn out to be a feint!

It's been bad.  I've seen Molly a few times;  Mycroft hardly at all.  It seems Mary has survived????   The Walking Dead filming spoilers are just as terrible right now.  Gimme something... anything...

I haven't seen Janine, and I'm really hoping to. For some reason, I really like her.

Yazmine brought real charm and attraction to her role, didn't she?  I'd love to see her more in Sherlock but I don't think her character can carry an on-going plot point until Sherl retires to keep bees....

I expect we'll see her pop up now and then in random places.  Who knows, Sherlock might even need a date (for a case, of course!).

One thing for sure... John is still wearing his wedding ring on that smoking boat...

You know the world has changed when you find out about a coup in Turkey because you're looking at a forum about a TV show.

By the time they get everything together Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland may no longer form part of the (former) UK, so the BBC will be unlikely to commission a foreign country's series. Mr Moffat may just be hedging his bets and leering towards PBS Masterpiece.
