Okay... looks like Timothy Carlton is back for S4, at least in the 3rd episode.  Not sure about Wanda yet.

It was "Sherlooloo" as Loo herself tweeted. ; )

:-D Now I really want a Sherlock Holmes version where he is female and played by Louise Brealey.

She's got the hat and the wig!

and there is that VERY good face mask made of BC's Sherlock she could wear too....

Did anyone notice this in one of those lilnks sfmpco posted? https://twitter.com/Anythingbatch/status/760973261534625793

No, that's a new one to me, Arcadia.  Thanx for posting!

Don't think that is the multi-story building by the river/bridge where we saw them filming the nurses on the top floor - do you?  Those other bldgs seem to close by... the Thames should be out the window if it were that building.

Wait - now I see it is labeled as Dr. Strange ....  oops!  Sorry for that.

But it sure looks a lot like Sherlock's hair & coat and...  Anyone not paying attention is likely to do a double take.

Yep, sorry gang, I just noticed that myself, it's apparently a Dr. Strange photo. Rats. All excited for nothing.

That made me sad, you were really into this pic of dr Strange ;)  And on a separate topic,  I can't wait to see Toby Jones!.  I noticed that he often plays villains   he's not as evil cute as Moriarty but I hope he will be dreadful enough  I have a question. Is Tom Hiddleston joining to the Sherlock cast? Can it be possible

Unless they did a really fantastic job of smuggling him in and out of set a la Andrew in TAB, I'd say no.  Plus, he was awfully busy with T. Swift.   Believe me though, I really wanted to believe in a Hiddles Sherrinford.

The fact Gatiss actually posted a picture of him with Hiddleston makes me think no

I just hope nothing happens to Sherlock's parents, that would be very sad.

Yeah, me thinks Gatiss was just trolling with the "Blud."

Hmmm... do we have our villains for S4?

I can only think of Toby Jones and Moriarity/brother of Moriarity.  Have we a 3rd one ?  Who's the villain for Epi 1 (bank hostages, car crash)?

Mycroft.  I kid, I kid.  I better be kidding.

Well, Mark and Tom were both at the ComicCon and they both worked on Coriolanus together. And probably fanboying over each other a bit. :D But I don't exclude the possibility that the makers could smuggle someone into Sherlock without us seeing it.

According to Moftiss, Moriarty was their playful villain, Magnussen was their amoral villain -- and Culverton Smith is their thoroughly eee-ville villain.

Well, there were no redeeming features in the original Culverton-Smith character either, but I sure would like to see Baron Gruner in any modern iteration, as well as Isadora Klein. Pity they used up Sir Eustace from Abbey Grange in TAB. He also had potential.

Is it my imagination, or is the bed the shadowy figure that looks like Dr Watson is staring at empty? There is a vital stats monitor on, but nothing else in the form of tubes seems to be attached, and the left-hand side seems completely flat.

That's what I was thinking too ... it looks like it could be empty. As in, there was supposed to be a patient there but isn't, because .....

Also I'm still not convinced that's John in front of the bed.....

I think it's John but yup, bed does look empty. Eurgh, Magnussen freaked me out, I'm all for a good villain but the licking and hand stroking was beyond disturbing. At least they won't be doing that again, Magnussen was more like the pervert villain. I was glad when Sherlock shot him, that's what you get for being freaky and widdling in folk's fireplaces.

someone on Tumblr enlarged the heck outta that shot and yes, you can see a right hand almost grasping the railing of the hospital bed.  An adult hand.  Debate ranging on whether it was male or female hand.

It does amuse me the actual detective work people go to. I'm hoping it's Mary rather than Sherlock. I'm a bit hobbled though by the fact I don't know the Dying Detective story - does he pretend to be ill/dying? If he was in the bed could it be for that reason to fool Culverton? We can't see John's face after all, it could just be his irritated FFS Sherlock face.
